Our conservators
Anne Maheux
Anne is the principal conservator at AFM Art Conservation in Ottawa, Canada, providing conservation and preservation services for fine art and archival works on paper (1982 – Present). Local clients include Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada, Global Affairs Canada, and numerous art collectors and galleries, as well as institutions, galleries and private clients abroad.
Anne was a paper conservator at the National Gallery of Canada for over 25 years, and head of paper, books and manuscript conservation at Library and Archives Canada for eight years. She has a Masters in Art Conservation from Queen’s University, and a certificate in the conservation of works of art on paper from the Center for Conservation and Technical Studies at the Fogg Art Museum, Harvard.
Anne is an accredited member of the Canadian Association of Professional Conservators (2000) and a Fellow of the American Academy in Rome (1996). She was recently adjunct professor at Queen’s University in the Masters Program in Art Conservation. Anne conducts workshops and seminars throughout North America.
Chloé Lucas
Chloé is a photograph conservator who runs Chloé Lucas Conservation in Ottawa, Canada, offering services for the preservation, conservation and restoration of fine art and archival photographs (2016 – Present). She serves institutions, such as the Canadian Museum of History, the City of Ottawa Public Art Collection, private galleries and individuals in Canada and abroad.
Chloé is also working part-time as a Photograph Conservator at the Art Gallery of Ontario. Previously, she worked at the National Gallery of Canada, the Canadian Conservation Institute, the Toronto Public Library and in several private conservation labs in Paris.
Chloé graduated from the Institut national du patrimoine with a Bachelors and a Masters in Heritage Conservation, specialized in Photographic Materials (2016); she is an accredited member of the Canadian Association of Professional Conservators (2020) and a Professional Associate of the American Institute for Conservation (2020).
Tiffany Eng Moore
Tiffany is a book and archival conservator for TEM Conservation in Ottawa, Canada, completing projects for institutions such as the Supreme Court of Canada Library, Ottawa City Archives, and private clients in the national capital region (2018 – Present). She also provides workshops and training, for conservation and book arts and previously instructed at Algonquin College for the Applied Museum Studies Program.
She has worked at York Explore Library and Archives in North Yorkshire, UK and the House of Lords – Parliamentary Archives in London, UK. She graduated from West Dean College with an Masters in Conservation of Books and Library Materials in 2015.
Tiffany is an accredited member of the Canadian Association of Professional Conservators (2022) and earned the Water Damage Restoration Technician certificate (2022) from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC).
